Yesko followed Godino with a triple to right field that went all the way to the wall, scoring Mazurkiewicz and Godino. After batting around, Nicosia came up and sent a first-pitch double down the left field to plate the sixth and seventh runs of the frame as Yesko and Mazzio crossed the plate.
The Green and White added two more in the bottom half of the second as Godino smashed a ground-rule double over the left- centerfield wall to give Wagner a 9-2 edge. CCSU answered in the top of the third with three runs on singles from Dean Lockery, Franklin Jennings and Ryan Costello.
In the bottom of the fourth, Godino singled up the middle for his fifth RBI of the day as he scored Ruta. Yesko plated his third RBI with a double to right field as Godino scored Wagner's 11th run of the game. Both teams added runs in their half of the sixth but fifth-year senior
