The Seahawks have now won three straight and improve to 19-15-1, 8-3 in Northeast Conference (NEC) play while the Blue Devils fall to 12-23 overall and 5-10 in league contests.
Fifth-year senior left-hander
Matt Morris (Matawan, NJ/St. John Vianney) hurled five innings of three-hit ball, allowing just one run, while striking out three batters. CCSU's Brett Susi suffered his first defeat on the year, tossing 5.1 innings while giving up 10 hits and eight runs (seven earned).

Ben Ruta (West Windsor, NJ/West-Windsor Plainsboro South) and senior 2B
Nick Dini (Monroe Township, NJ/Monroe Township) each produced two hits in the victory while senior CF
Trey Nicosia (State College, PA/State College Area) went 1-for-3 while tying his career-high with 3 RBIs. Ruta chipped in 2 RBIs in the victory.
After a scoreless first two innings of play, the Blue Devils took an early 1-0 lead as Ryan Costello connected on a line-drive home run over the right field wall. Wagner tied the game in the bottom of the fourth as senior 1B
Tommy Mazurkiewicz (Neshanic Station, NJ/Somerville) reached on an error by the Central shortstop, Dean Lockery, allowing Ruta to come into score from third.
The Seahawks broke the 1-1 stalemate with two runs in the bottom half of the fifth. Freshman 3B
Sean Mazzio (West Chester, PA/Salesianum School) kicked off the frame with a single to left field. Sophomore C
Jason Gordon (Baltimore, MD/Archbishop Curley) then sent a single up the middle as Mazzio advanced to third on the hit. With runners on the corners, Nicosia flied out to left as Mazzio tagged up to score on the sacrifice fly. Facing a 1-0 count, Dini singled through the left side which scored senior
Dan Wasilick (Toms River, NJ/Toms River), who had come on to pinch-run for Gordon at second.
The Green & White put the game out of reach with five runs in the bottom half of the sixth inning as Nicosia doubled to center, scoring Mazzio and senior RF
Zack Yesko (Mukwonago, WI/Mukwonago). After a walk to sophomore SS
Nick Mascelli (Clifton, NJ/Seton Hall Prep), Ruta delivered a two-run single to right field to score both Nicosia and Wasilick.
Wagner will look for its first conference sweep since taking four games from former NEC and current Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) member, Quinnipiac University back on April 28, 2013 with senior
Max Schmardel (Eatontown, NJ/Monmouth Regional) scheduled to take the mound in the 1:00 pm series finale.
