Staten Island, NY – The Wagner men's lacrosse team will be gunning for its second win of the season when the Seahawks host the Keydets of VMI with faceoff at Hameline Field set for 3:00 p.m.
The 1-4 Seahawks are paced offensively by freshman attackman
Andrew Streilein (Mt. Laurel, NJ / Lenape), who leads the team in goals (8) and points (14). Wagner's top playmaker in the early part of the season has been junior attackman
Billy Battaglia (Madison, NJ / Madison), who enters today's play with a team-best eight assists and 10 points, which rank second on the team.
A trio of Seahawks are tied for third on the team with nine points apiece in redshirt-sophomore attackman
Patrick McMenamin (Longport, NJ / St. Augustine Prep), junior midfielder
Paul DeVita (Westfield, NJ/Westfield), and freshman midfielder
JP Pawela (Montgomery Village, MD / St. John's College).

VMI, which competes in the Atlantic Sun Conference, enters today's contest with a mark of 0-7. Last season,
the Seahawks earned a 7-6 victory in Lexington, VA on March 18, 2014.
