Smithfield, RI -
Senior RHP Craig Schlitter faced just one over the minimum to lead Bryant to a 4-0 win over Wagner in the second game of a doubleheader at Conaty Park.

In defeat, the Seahawks fall to 17-33 and 9-13 in the Northeast Conference (NEC) while the Bulldogs improve to 39-12 and 19-3 in the league.

Schlitter improved to 9-1 on the season, striking out seven while allowing just two hits over 7.0 innings in twirling a complete game shutout.

Carl Anderson opened the scoring with a solo home run in the bottom of the first before Jordan Mountford plated AJ Zarozny with a RBI single to give the Bulldogs an early 2-0 lead.

Bryant would add to the lead with a Zarozny sacrifice fly in the fourth and a Dan Cellucci sacrifice fly in the sixth to provide the final 4-0 tally.

Senior LHP Matt Morris (Matawan, NJ / St. John Vianney) was the tough-luck loser, allowing four runs on 10 hits with four strikeouts over 6.0 innings.

Gordon singled in the first and fourth innings to account for both Green & White hits.

Anderson, Mountford and Robby Rinn all recorded a pair of hits to pace a 10-hit Bulldog attack.

The teams will conclude their series with a Friday doubleheader with first pitch slated for 12:00 pm.
