Home Sweet Home
The Seahawks will play eight their next 10 games at home.

Welcome Back
Due to the fact that Monmouth and Quinnipiac left the NEC for the MAAC, the Green & White will host FDU for the second-straight season. Last year, Wagner took three-of-four from Fairleigh Dickinson.

Homer Happy
Juniors Nick Dini and Tommy Mazurkiewicz each homered in the Seahawks' 6-2 series-opening win at LIU Brooklyn, marking the first time in games 21 that Green & White has had two players go deep in the same game. Wagner didn't have to wait very long for the second time as seniors Shaun Flynn and Chris Smith each homered in an 8-4 loss at No. 28 Seton Hall.

Touch Em All
Mazurkiewicz's home run was the first of his collegiate career and helped to cement the Seahawks' series-opening 6-2 win at LIU Brooklyn. On the year, the Wagner first baseman is second on the squad with a .370 OBP thanks to being plunked a NEC-leading 10 times.

Iron Five
Dini, Flynn, freshman Nick Mascelli, Mazurkiewicz and Smith have each played in and started all 25 games for the Seahawks this season. The quintet has recorded 75.0 percent (48/64) of the team's runs, 70.8 percent (114/161) of the hits, 86.8 percent (33/38) of the extra base hits and 72.4 percent (42/58) of the RBI.

We're Going Streaking
Dini has reached base safely in 14-straight games after drawing a four-pitch walk in the first inning at No. 28 Seton Hall.  Last weekend at LIU Brooklyn, Dini hit .375 (6-for-16) with a double, home run, three RBI and three stolen bases.

Brooklyn Bashing
For his career, Dini is batting .386 (17-for-44) against Blackbird pitching while hitting safely in 11-of-12 games with three doubles, three home runs and eight RBI.

Man Of Many Gloves
Dini is also leading Wagner in positions played (4) as the 2013 NEC First Team selection has seen time at catcher (14 games), second base (4 games), shortstop (1 games) and third base (4 games). Despite the multiple positions, the Garden State native has committed just four errors while throwing out 41.7 percent (7-of-17) of would-be runners on the bases.

Mascelli Mashing
Mascelli has hit safely in five-straight games and is batting .470 during that time, including a team-leading .500 at LIU Brooklyn. Thanks to his recent surge, the rookie is hitting .300 with 12 runs, nine multi-hit games, 15 walks and a .417 OBP - all of which pace the team.

Smith Slugging
Smith crushed his second home run of the season at No. 8 Seton Hall and leads the Seahawks with seven doubles and a .422 slugging percentage as 43.5 percent (10-of-23) of his hits (7 doubles | 1 triple | 2 home runs) have gone for extra bases.

NEC Openers
The Green & White posted a 6-2 victory over LIU Brooklyn in its NEC opener and has now won 10-of-12 conference-opening tilts dating back to the 2002 season.

Casey/Battaglia Dominate In Brooklyn
Senior RHP Ryan Casey and junior RHP Anthony Battaglia combined to hold the Blackbirds to zero earned runs over 9.0 innings of four-hit ball last Friday. Casey surrendered just two unearned runs on three hits with two strikeouts over 5.2 innings before Battaglia worked 3.1 hitless innings of relief to earn the save.

Batz In Brooklyn
Battaglia has now recorded 9.2 scoreless innings of relief for his career against the Blackbirds, yielding just five hits.

Offense Comes Alive At LIU Brooklyn
In the series-opening win, Wagner batted around in the top of the fifth inning for the first time this season in scoring three runs.

Marsh, Flynn Help Seahawks Rebound
After losing the first game of last Saturday's doubleheader in walk-off fashion, freshman RHP Danny Marsh yielded just two runs over 6.0 solid innings while Flynn went 2-for-3 with a double, home run and three RBI in the Seahawks' 4-2 win over the Blackbirds in the nightcap. Junior RHP Steven Bloodworth closed out the win with a scorless seventh for his first save.

Marsh & Bloodworth Rolling
Last week, Marsh went 2-0 with six strikeouts and a 2.08 ERA over 8.2 innings of action. Bloodworth, meanwhile, has allowed just four hits over 6.0 scoreless innings of relief spanning his last four outings.

DYK??
Wagner had three different players record saves last week in freshman RHP Nolan Long (Monmouth), Battaglia and Bloodworth. On the year, four different Seahawks have saves with sophomore RHP Mike Adams leading the way with two.

Flynn Flying High
Over his last three games, Flynn is 5-for-11 with two doubles, two home runs and four RBI while providing the power at the cleanup spot in the order. His three RBI at LIU Brooklyn were the most by a Wagner player this year before he finished up a triple short of the cycle at No. 28 Seton Hall. Previoulsy, he had four extra-base hits and five RBI in his first 22 games.

Good Things Come In Three
The Seahawks scored a season-high matching three runs in an inning three times last weekend after doing so just twice in their first 20 games.

Facing The Best
After an 8-4 setback at No. 28 Seton Hall, eight of Wagner's 20 losses have come to teams ranked among the top-30 nationally. In those games, Mascelli is batting a team-best .379 (11-for-29) with four multi-hit games.

Playing The Best
The Seahawks have the 29th toughest schedule to date according to Boyd's World.

Impressive
The five teams (Elon, Texas State, Army, No. 8 Cal Poly, No. 15 UC Santa Barbara) that the Green & White has squared off in non-conference weekend match-ups of at least three games have a 106-48 (.688) record.

Trey Returns
The game at No. 28 Seton Hall marked the return of junior Trey Nicosia after the Keystone State native missed the previous 23 games due to injury. Nicosia went 1-for-4 with a bunt single.
