BROOKLYN IS IN THE HOUSE!
In a geographical anomaly, Wagner will be the road team in this weekend's series with Army despite having to travel just 10 miles compared to 60 for the Black Knights. Originally slated to played in historic West Point, the series was moved due to the inclement weather that has ravaged the East Coast as Johnson Stadium at Doubleday Park is not in playing shape.
WHILE WE'RE AT IT
The Seahawks will return to MCU Park on Tuesday ... this time as the home team against Rider. First pitch is slated for 3:00 pm.
DYK??
MCU Park is able to host games despite the arduous winter conditions due to the recent installation of FieldTurf after Superstorm Sandy spoiled the grass surface at the state-of-the-art venue.
HEARTBREAK IN TEXAS
Wagner dropped all three games of last weekend's series at Texas State by three runs or less, including two by two runs.
EVERYTHING'S BIGGER IN TEXAS

SCOUTING ARMY
Army enters this weekend's series with a 5-4 record, highlighted by a weekend sweep of Atlantic 10 member UMass and a victory over 2013 Regional participant William & Mary. The Black Knights are hitting .273 with a balanced line-up that features six regulars with a .250 average or higher, including three that are hitting .300 or better. Leading the way is senior Jon Crucitti, who is batting a team-best .371 with 10 runs, seven RBI, seven stolen bases and a .522 OBP. Army also featured a pitching staff that has posted a solid 4.14 ERA with 74 strikeouts, against 31 walks, in 78.1 innings of work.
LONG TIME COMING
This weekend's series marks the first time the teams have met since 2006 when the Black Knights claimed both ends of doubleheader in West Point before sweeping the series with a 4-3 extra-inning win in game three at the now defunct Bill Willetts Field.
FROM THE ANNALS
In the finale against Army in 2006, current New York Yankee Andrew Bailey made his season debut while capping a remarkable nine-month recovery from Tommy John surgery. The 2013 World Series Champion hurled a scoreless inning with a pair of strikeouts.
