Staten Island, NY– The Wagner men's lacrosse team plays host to Sacred Heart today at Hameline Field with faceoff set for 1:00 pm in Northeast Conference (NEC) action today.
Coming off a back-and-forth 12-11 loss home loss to Manhattan (4/2), the Seahawks are seeking their second win of the season in looking to improve upon their 1-8 mark, 0-1 in the NEC. The Pioneers enter today's play with an identical 1-8 record but are 1-0 in league play, having posted an impressive 14-5 victory over Mount St. Mary's (3/30).
Nearly one year ago, on April 14, 2012, the Green & White
registered a scintillating 11-8 come-from-behind vicctory over the Pioneers and will try to deplicate that effort oday.

Cory Santor (Glastonbury, CT/ Glastonbury) and senior attackman
Brian Faughnan (New Canaan, CT/ New Canaan) have produced 19 and 11 points, respectively.

Nicholas Gibaldi (Rocky Point, NY/ Rocky Point) has recorded 115 saves on the season and was particularly sharp last time out, helping to keep Wagner in the game against Manhattan by stopping 15 shots, several from point-blank range.
