Staten Island, NY – On Saturday, March 9, the Wagner College men's lacrosse team will host Mercer University at Hameline Field in a 2:00 pm start instead of the originally scheduled time of 1:00 pm due to the inclement weather.

The Seahawks (0-4) will be looking for their first win of the season against a tough Bulldog team that brings a 2-2 record into the game.

The teams have played one common opponent with Mercer registering a 10-9 win at Saint Joseph's last time out on March 6 while Wagner dropped a 10-5 decision to the Hawks on March 2.

The Green & White are led in scoring by senior midfielder Nick DePhillips (Glen Ridge, NJ/ Glen Ridge/ Ohio St.) and freshman attackman Griffen Leclaire (White Rock, BC/ Hill Academy) who have tallied eight points apiece. Junior Nicholas Gibaldi (Rocky Point, NY/ Rocky Point) has 60 saves in goal for the Seahawks.
