Moon Township, PA – Wagner waged a back and forth battle with a talented and dangerous Robert Morris team for long stretches of the first half before the Colonials erupted for 11 consecutive third-quarter goals, extending their halftime lead from 9-4 to 20-4 en route to a 22-6 Northeast Conference (NEC) win over Wagner.

Nick DePhillips (Glen Ridge, NJ/ Glen Ridge/ Ohio St.) scored three goals, sophomore
Cory Santor (Glastonbury, CT/ Glastonbury) had one goal and one assist while senior midfielder Colin O'Rourke (Worcester, MA/ St. John's Shrewsbury) and freshman
Billy Battaglia (Madison, NJ/ Madison) recorded a goal apiece.
In posting its ninth consecutive NEC win, the Colonials improved to 5-4 on the season, 1-0 in NEC play while the Seahawks fall to 1-7 overall, 0-1 in the conference.
Dave Morton notched four goals and assisted on two others while Mike Keegan and Luke Laskiewicz added three goals each for Robert Morris.
Wagner trailed 5-1 at the outset before back-to-back goals by DePhillips and Santor drew the Seahawks within 5-3 with 6:26 left in the first half. Robert Morris then outscored Wagner 3-2 the rest of the half to make it a 9-4 game at intermission.
The Colonials then went on their tear following halftime, scoring 11 straight before DePhillips broke the string with a goal at the 12:26 mark of the second half to make it 20-5.
Wagner is next in action on Tuesday, April 2 when the Seahawks host Manhattan in their final non-conference game of the season in a 3:00 pm start at Hameline Field.
