Staten Island, NY – The Wagner men's lacrosse team plays host to the Leopards of Lafayette today at 2:00 pm at Hameline Field.
 
The 2013 Seahawks have opened the season by playing a pair of BIG EAST teams, dropping the season opener to Providence at home 17-6 on February 15, before being outscored 20-10 on a rain-swept day at Rutgers on February 19.
 
The Seahawks are led in scoring by freshman attack Griffen Leclaire (White Rock, BC/  Hill Academy). Junior Nicholas Gibaldi (Rocky Point, NY/ Rocky Point) has 28 saves in goal for the Green & White.
 
Lafayette enters the game with a 1-2 record. On February 16, the Leopards outlasted Georgetown on the road, escaping with an 11-10 overtime win. The next time out on February 19, Lafayette dropped a 12-10 home decision to Stony Brook before winding up on the short end of an 11-7 decision at Manhattan on February 23.
