Scouting The Terriers
St. Francis Brooklyn enters the second weekend of NEC play with a 4-9 overall record, and a 1-1 mark in conference play, splitting the opening weekend with a win over Sacred Heart on Saturday before being defeated by Quinnipiac on Monday. The Terriers' non-conference victories came against Army and Delaware State to open the season, followed by a win over Rider in their final nonconference tilt.
Sophomore Sarah Benedetti has led the Terriers offensively at 12.7 ppg, with a season-high of 28 against Lafayette. Fellow second-year Terrier Jaymee Veney leads St. Francis Brooklyn on the boards with 5.5 rpg. Junior Jasmin Robinson has a team-high 2.8 apg.
All-Time vs. St. Francis Brooklyn
Saturday marks the 69th all-time meeting between the Seahawks and Terriers, with Wagner holding a commanding 51-17 series lead. Last year, the two teams split the season series, with each team winning their home game. Wagner won 49-45 (Dec. 3, 2011), while the Terriers won 48-34 (Jan. 21).

Laura Amorosa looks to celebrate her birthday on Saturday with a win, and to continue on her elevated offensive production. Amorosa tied a career-high with 11 points Monday against Monmouth, and is averaging 9.0 ppg over her past four contests.

The Seahawks took a season-best 22 free throw attempts in Monday's game against Monmouth. It was the second consecutive game in which Wagner had double-digit chances from the line.

Ebony Jennings has appeared in each of the past seven games for the Seahawks, and made an impact on Wagner's first two NEC games. Against FDU (Jan. 5), Jennings pulled down a career-high seven rebounds. Two days later vs. Monmouth, she grabbed fi ve boards in a career-best 18 minutes.

Tessa Wade has seen increased playing time of late, playing in 14 or more minutes in three of the past five games. Wade dished out a career-high three assists on Monday vs. Monmouth.
Home Cooking
After playing nine of their first 11 games on the road, Saturday marks the third straight contest at Spiro Sports Center for the Seahawks. Following Saturday's game, Wagner plays five straight games on the road to close out the month of January.

Wagner recorded 10 steals in the game vs. FDU (Jan. 5), with
Veronick Fournier tallying three, and Ebony Jennings and
Laura Amorosa each coming up with two. Saturday was the third time this season the Seahawks had 10 steals, The Green & White recorded 11 steals against Iona (Dec. 1), following it up with 12 at Syracuse (Dec. 4).

Jordyn Peck impressed on the big stage in front of the 7,876 fans in attendance at Dec. 21's game vs. Louisville, scoring 15 points off the bench to lead the Seahawks. She topped the 15-point performance by tallying career-highs in points (19) and rebounds (8) against FDU (Jan. 5). Peck has won the Choice Hotels NEC Rookie of the Week award twice this season. The freshman from the Buckeye State has made an immediate impact for the Green & White, averaging 7.8 points and 19.1 minutes per game.

Jacqui Thompson is third in the NEC with 4.2 apg. Thompson has tallied seven or more helpers in four contests this year. Her season high came on Dec. 17 against New Hampshire, when she recorded eight assists.
Amorosa Named To All-Tournament Team

Laura Amorosa was named to the Saint Joseph's Hawk Classic All-Tournament Team for her play against UMBC (Dec. 28) and Fairfield (Dec. 29). Amorosa tallied a career-high seven rebounds in the first game against UMBC, following it up with nine points against the Stags.

Marie-Laurence Archambault enters play Monday 78 points away from joining the Seahawks' 1,000-point club. There have been 22 1,000-point scorers in Seahawk history, most recently Kelly Clark, who reached the mark last season.
Threes Fallin'
Wagner has made at least eight three-pointers in five games this season. The Seahawks tallied nine made shots from outside the arc against FDU (Jan. 5), in addition to four games making eight: vs. Army (Nov. 9), Lehigh (Nov. 23), New Hampshire (Dec. 17), and UMBC (Dec. 28). The Seahawks are currently third in the NEC in made three-pointers per game at 6.08.

Stephanie Blais scored a career-high 20 points in the game against Lehigh (Nov. 23), reaching her previous high of 14 points with 2:17 remaining in the fi rst half. Blais also set career-highs in field goals made (8), steals (2), and minutes played (36).

The Nov. 14 victory over Columbia was the first in the head coaching career of
Lisa Cermignano. The Seahawks' first-year coach served as an assistant at Maryland, Monmouth, George Washington, Vanderbilt, and Illinois before joining Wagner.
Cutting Through the Ivy
Wagner's win at Columbia (Nov. 14) moves the Seahawks to 16-7 all-time over the Lions, and 22-17 against the Ivy League. The Seahawks hold a 5-7 mark against Princeton, are 1-1 vs. Dartmouth, and 0-2 vs. Harvard.

Jordyn Peck earned Choice Hotels NEC Rookie of the Week honors for her performance against the Black Knights, tallying nine points an assist and a steal in 17 minutes of play, without committing a single turnover. Emily Adams recorded two minutes off the bench, grabbing one offensive rebound in her debut with the Green & White. Wagner College Head Women's Basketball Coach Lisa Cermignano announced the signing of five student-athletes to national letters of intent earlier in the season. 5-9 shooting guard

Lisa Cermignano has faced two fellow alumnae of New Jersey's Gloucester
Catholic High School - Pitt's Agnus Berenato and Lafayette's Dianne Nolan. Nolan attended Glassboro State College, now Rowan University. Wagner assistant coach Gina Catanzariti graduated from Rowan in 2011, having scored over 1,000 points during her time in Glassboro. Catanzariti's college teammate, Ashley Cieplicki, was an assistant coach on the opposing bench for the game against Fairleigh Dickinson. The Seahawks have also faced a father and daughter pairing of head coaches this season - Army's Dave Magarity and New Hampshire's Maureen Magarity.
