Ebony Jennings sat out the 2011-12 season as a redshirt ... Will be a redshirt freshman with four years of eligibitiy in 2012-2013.

Scholastic/Personal:
Jennings is a New Jersey native played who for Coach Shammona Patterson at Linden High School before transferring to Monroe Township High School prior to her senior season where she played for Sandy Mascali. A 5-11 power forward , Jennings is a physical player and a relentless rebounder with the ability to finish inside. She is also a strong, athletic post player who can attack the basket as well as step out and hit jumpers. As a senior at Monroe Township, she averaged 14.3 points and 11.9 rebounds per game in leading the Falcons to their first state tournament appearance in 33 years. In addition to averaging a double-double for the season, she accumulated 18 double-doubles in her 24 games played as a senior. She also competed for the New York Gauchos Club Team. During her senior year, she had a 28-point, 14-rebound game vs. Freehold Township HS and a 21-point, 15-rebound performance vs. East Brunswick. As a junior, she averaged 10.2 points and 9.3 rebounds per game at Linden High School.
