Staten Island, NY - The Wagner College Seahawks play host to the Hawks of Saint Joseph's out of the competitive Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) in a 2:00 pm faceoff.
The Saint Joseph's tile marks just the second home game of the season for Wagner. In the Seahawks' home opener on February 21, they battled BIG EAST member Rutgers to the wire before dropping a 9-5 decision.
The Seahawks are led by their junior midfield tandem of
Nick DePhillips (Glen Ridge, NJ/ Glen Ridge), a transfer from Ohio St., and Colin O'Rourke (Worcester, MA/ St. John's Shrewsbury), who have each scored seven goals on the season to pace Wagner.
Sophomore goalie
Nicholas Gibaldi (Rocky Point, NY/ Rocky Point) has started all four games and has 44 saves.
Saint Joe's is 1-2 on the season. After dropping games to Lehigh (11-4) and Bryant (11-7), the Hawks earned their first win of the season last time out, a 12-4 decision over VMI. The Hawks are led by sophomore attackman Ryan McGee who has 12 points on eight goals and four assists.
