Easton, PA – Mike Galione scored three goals and assisted on two others, Doug Prusoff had three goals and Brian Brock registered two goals and three assists to lead Lafayette to a 19-2 win over Wagner in men's lacrosse action under the lights at Rappolt Field.
The first quarter was played on near-even terms as the Leopards led by just a 2-1 count heading into the second period. Lafayette, however, found its rhythm in that second quarter, going on an 8-0 run in building a 10-1 halftime lead en route to the victory.
With the win, Lafayette improves to 2-1 on the season while the Seahawks fall to 0-4.
Goals scorers for Wagner were senior attackman
Mike Hurley (Billerica, MA/ Billerica) and Colin O'Rourke (Worcester, MA/ St. John's Shrewsbury) while sophomore attackman
Sam Morrissey (Long Valley, NJ/ West Morris Central) added one assist.
Lafayette out-shot Wagner 42-15, led in ground balls 19-13 while winning 14-of-25 faceoffs. Goalkeeper Andrijko Andrusko had three saves in goal while playing the first 38:23 of the game for Lafayette.

Nicholas Gibaldi (Rocky Point, NY/ Rocky Point) stopped six shots during his 47:22 between the pipes before giving way to senior
Peter Rubin (East Rockaway, NY/ East Rockaway) who played the final 12:38 of the game in seeing his first action of the season.
Wagner is next in action on Saturday, March 3 when the Seahawks play host to the Hawks of Saint Joseph's in a 3:00 pm face-off.
