Wagner At St. John’s Women’s Basketball Game Tonight At 6:00 pm To Be Broadcast On ESPN3

Queens, NY – The  Wagner College women's basketball team will travel to BIG EAST member St. John's for a 6:00 pm tip-off tonight in a game that will be available to 70 million households via broadband on ESPN3 by accessing  www.WatchESPN.com.

The Seahawks and Redstorm enter the contest with matching 1-2 records.
 
In addition to being available online at WatchESPN.com, the game is also available on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app and through ESPN on Xbox LIVE.
 
The broadcast will be a production of the St. John's Television Network (STJ-TV) with  Tony Luftman calling play by play and former Redstorm standout Tarik Turner providing color analysis.
 
The Seahawks, under the direction of head coach Gela Mikalauskas, are led by 6-3 senior center Kelly Clark (Belmar, NJ/ St. Rose) who averages 16.3 points and 9.3 rebounds per game, are off to a 1-2 start this season with a home win over Columbia (66-54) sandwiched between road losses to Army (70-46) and NJIT (68-65). Freshman point guard Jacqui Thompson (Southampton, PA/ St. Basil Academy) earned Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week honors yesterday after averaging 8.5 points and 6.5 assists in Wagner's games last week vs. Columbia and NJIT.
 
The Redstorm will bring an identical 1-2 mark into Tuesday's game. St. John's owns a home win over La Salle (66-45) and has dropped contests to St. Bonaventure (64-58 at home) and at Hofstra (93-82).
