Poughkeepsie, NY – Five different Seahawks scored goals but it was not enough as Marist staved off Wagner 13-6 in men's lacrosse action.
Wagner hung tough early and trailed by just a 3-2 count after one quarter but Marist outscored the Seahawks 4-1 in each of the second and third quarters in pulling away for the victory.
With the loss, Wagner falls to 0-8 on the season, 0-2 in the MAAC while Red Foxes improve to 6-2 overall, 3-0 in conference play.

Connor Rice and Matt Teichman scored three goals apiece to lead Marist offensively.
Marist outshot Wagner 35-19, led in ground balls 30-21 and won 14-of-23 faceoffs. Seahawk senior goalie

The Seahawks are next in action on Saturday, April 10 when they meet the Siena Saints in a contest that will be played on a neutral site in Farmingdale, NY.
