Megan Fritz is the Wagner College Walsh Electrical Contracting Women's Student-Athlete of the Month for September. Fritz was instrumental in Wagner’s solid September campaign, helping the Seahawks to four of the Green & White’s school-record seven non-conference wins. The rookie earned eight points over eight games in the month, kick-started by her game-winning goal in Wagner’s 3-2 overtime victory over Howard (9/6). Fritz also scored the go-ahead goal in the Seahawks’ 2-1 triumph against Manhattan (9/14). In addition to her tally in Wagner’s 4-0 romp over NJIT (9/20), the Cape Coral, FL, native assisted on both Green & White goals in last Friday’s 2-0 win at Delaware State (9/27). Fritz’s efforts have also netted her a pair of NEC Rookie of the Week accolades in the month of September. The Wagner women’s soccer team is next in action on Friday, October 4 at 7:00 pm when the Seahawks host Sacred Heart.
