Before Wagner: Attended McKinney High School in McKinney, TX where he was a four-member of the Lions track and field program... Also was a four-year member of the football team... Named 2019 Track & Field Athlete of the Year and was a 2nd Team All-District in football.. Named a District 9-6A third-place finalist... On the track, set a personal-best in the 200 a season ago, coming in third at the McKinney Lions Invitational (3/1), with a time of 23.37... Set a school-record back in 2018 in the 100 at the Little Elm Lobo Club Invitational (3/24), crossing the finish line in 11.34... Son of Mark and Jenny Murphey... Has two siblings, Luke and Lauren... His father placed soccer at TCU and Baylor University... His uncle, Matt, was a soccer player at Centenary College while his brother Luke, plays basketball for Hendrix College... Plans to pursue a degree in Computer Science while minoring in Physics.
