2023 (Graduate Season): Started and appeared in all 14 games, 14 appearances and starts is a career high. Also notched a career-high 24 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers.

2022 (Senior Season): Appeared in and started all 12 games… Served as one of two team captains for the second straight season… Collected 15 ground balls… Ranked fourth on the team with caused 11 turnovers… Tied his career-high with four ground balls on 2/19 at Fairfield… Caused three turnovers on 3/5 vs. NJIT.

2021 (Junior Season): One of three players to start all 10 games during the season, recording at least one ground ball in every game… third on the team in ground balls (19) and caused turnovers (five)… scooped two ground balls and caused a turnover against LIU (2/27)… grabbed four ground balls against Saint Joseph’s (3/08)… picked up a ground ball and forced a turnover against Merrimack (3/13)… recorded two ground balls and a caused turnover in back-to-back games against Bryant (3/21) and LIU (3/27)… scooped a ground ball and caused a turnover against Saint Joseph’s (4/30).

2020 (Sophomore Season): Started all six games as a sophomore… led team with six caused turnovers, tied for fifth with eight ground balls… picked up two ground balls in season opener at Hofstra (2/08)… scooped a ground ball and caused two turnovers in win at LIU (2/15)… grabbed two ground balls and caused two turnovers against Manhattan (2/22) and in season finale against Hartford (3/07).

2019 (Freshman Season): Appeared in five games off the bench as a freshman… scooped two ground balls against Saint Joseph’s (4/20)… added a ground ball and a caused turnover in season finale against Sacred Heart (4/27).

Before Wagner: A 2018 graduate of Seneca High School in Shamong, NJ ... Competed for four years on both the lacrosse and football teams ... First Team All-Conference defender as a junior and senior on the lacrosse team ... Set school record for most receptions in a season as a junior on the football team ... The captain was named First Team All-Conference receiver as a senior ...

Personal: Son of Carla and James Scarpello ... Has three siblings Samantha, (21) a junior defender on the Rutgers women's lacrosse team, JJ, (20) a sophomore quarterback on the Villanova football team and Luke (15).
