Wagner College Athletics

2023 (Senior Season): Second Team All-MAAC, appeared in all 14 games while making three starts. Tallied a career-high three goals. Recorded his 100th ground ball against Canisius. Finished the season fifth in program history with 46 caused turnovers. Tallied a career-high 33 ground balls.

2022 (Junior Season): Appeared in and started all 12 games… Earned Second Team All-Conference as a long stick midfielder… Scored his first career goal on 3/12 vs. Mercer… Totaled two goals and an assist on the year… Led the team in caused turnovers (13)… Was second on the team in ground balls (28)… Collected a season-high five ground balls on 4/2 vs. Sacred Heart.

2021 (Sophomore Season): Started eight of his 10 appearances, one of five players to appear in every game… team leader in ground balls (27) and caused turnovers (10)… scooped four ground balls and caused a turnover against Saint Joseph’s (3/08)… grabbed five ground balls and forced a turnover against Merrimack (3/13)… set career-highs with six ground balls and three caused turnovers, winning 3-of-5 face-offs against Bryant (3/21)… picked up four ground balls and caused two turnovers against LIU (3/27)… grabbed four ground balls against Mount St. Mary’s (5/07).

2020 (Freshman Season): Started all six games as a freshman… second on the team with four caused turnovers, tied for second with 13 ground balls… scooped three ground balls and caused a turnover in season-opener at Hofstra (2/08) and in win at LIU (2/15)… added a third straight three-ground-ball performance against Manhattan (2/22)… scooped a ground ball and caused season-best two turnovers in season finale against Hartford (3/07).

Before Wagner: Attended Brother Rice High School in Bloomfield Hills, MI…Catholic League Champion and State Champion as a junior and senior…

Personal: Son of Colleen and Sean Higgins… mother was a soccer player at Marquette University, father was a lacrosse player at Loyola Marymount University… has a younger brother, Ryan… intends to major in business or health sciences at Wagner... favorite actors are Adam Sandler and Keanu Reeves.
