This Week In Wagner Athletics; Two Teams In Action As Women’s Water Polo Gets Ready To Take On McKendree In The Opening Round Of The 2025 NCAA Women’s Water Polo Championships On Wednesday

Staten Island, NY - Here is a look at the Wagner Athletics events for this week.

Baseball

After coming off a massive weekend series win over conference-leading CCSU, the Seahawks will compete in their final road weekend of the regular season.
Wagner will then head to FDU for a Northeast Conference (NEC) series against the Knights, who are 12-12 in conference play. Game one is scheduled for Friday, May 9 at 3 pm.

Women's Water Polo

Wagner will face McKendree University in the opening round on Wednesday, May 7, at 6:00 pm.
The winner will advance to meet No. 1 Stanford (22-1) in the first round on Friday, May 9 at noon.
All rounds of the championship will be held at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Indiana, hosted by Indiana University and Indy Sports Corp. The 2025 championship will feature an eight-team, single-elimination format. Check out wagnerathletics.com later this week for more information.
