STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Wagner swimming & diving teams have released their schedules for the 2026-27 season, head coach
Colin Shannahan announced on Friday.
For the fourth consecutive season, the Seahawks will begin their campaign with a trip to New Rochelle, New York to face off against Iona and Sacred Heart (women's team only) at the Hynes Center Pool on Saturday, Oct 17. Last season, the Green and White set several event records against the Gaels and the Pioneers.
Wagner will make the first of its two trips to New Jersey on Saturday, Oct. 24, when they face off against Monmouth and Manhattan at the Richard E. Steadman Natatorium, then it will travel to New Haven to take on both CCSU (women's team only) and Southern Connecticut State on Friday, Oct. 30. This will be the third straight season where the Green & White compete at the Hutchinson Natatorium against the Blue Devils and the Owls.
The Seahawks will face off against LIU at the Brooklyn Athletic Center on Saturday, Nov. 7, then they will participate in the Harold Anderson Invitational from Friday, Nov. 20 to Sunday, Nov. 22 to wrap up the first half of their schedule. This will be Wagner's third straight season competing at the mid-season event, which Rhode Island will host at the Tootell Aquatics Center.
After the calendar turns to 2027, the Seahawks will take their second trip to New Jersey and will face off against Saint Peter's and hosts Seton Hall at the Arthur E. Imperatore Natatorium on Saturday, Jan. 23.
Wagner will host its annual Senior Day meet on Friday, Jan 29 against LIU, then will wrap up the regular season against the Sharks the next day back at the Brooklyn Athletics Center.
The NEC Championships will take place between Wednesday, Feb. 17 and Saturday, Feb. 20, at the VMI Aquatics Center. Last season, both teams finished with 26 combined individual medals, including six gold, eight silver and 12 bronze. The women's team finished third in the 2026 championships, while the men's team finished as the runner-up.
