Ruth-Ann Chambers Rounds Out Athletic Calendar With NCAA Regional Appearance

Jacksonville, Fla. — Senior Ruth-Ann Chambers represented Wagner track and field at the NCAA's East Regional in the 400-meter hurdles as the final event of the 2024-2025 athletic year.

She qualified for the NCAA Regional in the 400-meter hurdles after winning the Northeast Conference championship in that same event, earning Most Valuable Performer at the meet. Running on Thursday for a spot in the quarterfinals, Chambers finished with a 59.36-second time.

Entering the meet with the No. 85 time in the nation, Chambers finished thirty eighth to round out what has been a dominant year for her going back to indoor season.

With the race, Chambers closed out the athletic calendar for Wagner, which will pick back up in August.
