Princeton, NJ — Wagner competed at the Princeton Elite, sending a contingent of five athletes to the meet.
Senior Ruth-Ann Chambers led the way with a second place finish in the 100-meter hurdles, logging a 13.46-second time that was 0.1 seconds off the lead. Freshman Mia Petersen was the other representative from the women's team, finishing seventh in long jump with a 5.42-meter performance, then finishing fifth in triple jump with an 11.56-meter mark.
Junior Franklin Simms finished fourth in the discus with a 47.60-meter mark. Rounding out the field events for the Seahawks, Christopher Milillo logged a 57.13-meter hammer throw to finish eighth.
Freshman Julio Tatis ran a 47.31-second time in the men's 400-meter dash to finish fifth of 23 runners.
Next up, Chambers will compete at the NCAA East Regional in Jacksonville, FL. The first round of the 400m hurdles is scheduled for Thursday, May 29 at 8:20 PM ET.
