Berlin, MD – The Wagner men's golf team finished tied for ninth out of 15 teams at the Battle at Rum Pointe, hosted by Iona at Rum Pointe Seaside Golf Links.
Wagner wrapped up the tournament with a team score of 21-over par, securing a tie for ninth place.
Junior
Alavid Melo Iturralde was the top performer for Wagner, finishing tied for 19th with a score of +2. Over the course of the two-day event, he recorded six birdies.
Junior Reanto Gerena tied for 36th, posting a score of 5-over, while freshman
Emilio Zapiain finished tied for 49th with a 7-over score.
Freshman
Daniel Cassidy's 8-over score placed him in a tie for 51st, and graduate student
Thomas Choi finished tied for 63rd with a 10-over score.
Next, Wagner will head to Armonk, NY, for its regular-season finale at the Jasper Spring Collegiate, hosted by Manhattan College on Friday, April 11, and Saturday, April 12.
