Bridgewater, NJ – Wagner women's basketball graduate guard Julia Fabozzi has been named Co-Player of the Week by the Northeast Conference (NEC).
Last Thursday, the Staten Island native led the charge in the Seahawks' 61-56 victory over Le Moyne, leading the team with 24 points, 13 rebounds, a block, and a steal in 36 minutes. She also matched her career high with five made three-pointers.
This marks Fabozzi's first Player of the Week honor of her career.
Earlier this season, she delivered a standout performance, scoring a career-high and NEC-best 40 points against LIU on February 6. Her 40-point effort ranks sixth in Wagner history and is tied for the eighth-highest scoring output in college basketball this season.
Fabozzi and the Seahawks return to action on Thursday, February 20, against Stonehill in Easton, MA.
