STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Seahawks concluded the 2025 calendar year at the Seahawk Shootout, the team's final meet before picking back up in January.
Graduate Ana Blanco Duran led the way in the mile, finishing third with a 5:10.00 time. Junior Magui Calvo-Jorge finished sixth, less than four seconds behind with a 5:13.90 time.
In the 600m, senior Angelina Olah led the way with a 1:38.44 time to finish fifth, followed by Angel Okafor, who ran a 1:40.07 race to finish ninth.
Senior Saranda Capani cleared 3.15m in pole vault to finish fifth, also logging an 8.41-second 60m dash.
Sophomore Christine Manneh finished seventh in the 60m dash with a 7.75 time. Junior June Fernandez finished 16th in the 300m with a 40.94-second time, also running an 8.10 60m dash. Wagner's 4x400 relay team finished second, with Manneh, Okafor, Calvo-Jorge and Fernandez combining for a 4:00.15 time.
Sophomore Mia Petersen finished seventh in long jump with a 5.33m mark, also finishing eighth in triple jump with an 11.44m performance.
Sophomore Madison Maxwell logged a 10.43m triple jump. Senior Elisa Parazzi, in her first meet of the season, logged a 1.53m clearance in high jump.
Resuming their indoor season in 2026, the Seahawks will open the new year at the Spartan Invite on Friday, Jan. 9 at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
