Berlin, CT - The Wagner men's golf team opened the 2024-25 season at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate at Shuttle Meadow Country Club this weekend, finishing in a tie for 15th place.
Leading the way for the Seahawks were graduate student Thomas Choi and freshman Daniel Cassidy.
After a stellar senior season on Grymes Hill, Choi returned and finished in a tie for 53rd place. He shot a 77 (+6) and 73 (+2) across the two days of competition. Cassidy made his debut appearance for the Seahawks, shooting a first round 72 (+1) before finishing the weekend with a 78 (+7).
Senior Michael Foley and freshman Emilio Zapian finished tied for 78th place, shooting 15-over. Junior Johnny Svalina rounded out the Seahawk golfers, finishing with a 166 (+24) across the two rounds.
The Seahawks will be back in action on Sunday, October 13, for the Bucknell Invitational.
