Staten Island, NY - Wagner men's and women's swimming & diving head coach Colin Shannahan has announced the team's 2024-25, which includes two home meets.
The Seahawks will kick off their season in New Rochelle, NY, on October 19 in a tri-meet with the Gaels and fellow NEC member Sacred Heart. This is the second consecutive season that Wagner has started the season off against Iona and Sacred Heart.
A second tri-meet follows on November 1, with the Green & White traveling to Connecticut to face-off against Southern Connecticut State and CCSU.Â
The final tri-meet of the season will take place on Long Island, with the Seahawks heading to Brooklyn to take on LIU for the first of three times in 2024-25. Manhattan will join Wagner and LIU at the meet on November 9.
Wagner will conclude the first half of its season in Kingston, RI, at the Harold Anderson Invite. The three-day event will span from November 21-24. Last season, both teams finished in the top-three of their respective competitions, with the men snatching second place and the women taking home third.
The Seahawks return to action on January 18 when they host Binghamton. After traveling to Seton Hall on January 24, the Green & White will host LIU on January 31 as a part of a home-away series against the Sharks.Â
The third and final matchup against LIU will occur on February 1.
Wagner will conclude its season at the NEC Championship from February 17-23 at the Spire Institute in Geneva, OH. The men's team will be looking to defend its crown after emerging victorious at the 2024 NEC Championship.Â
