Staten Island, NY - The Wagner College softball team dropped game three of the Saint Francis U conference series Sunday, April 28 with a score of 1-7.
The Red Flash jumped to an early lead in the top of the first inning scoring two runs. SFU went on to score in the second, third and fifth inning making it a 0-7 game going into the bottom of the seventh.
The Seahawks made a late run in the bottom of the seventh as Sam Tran earned the first hit of the day driving a single up the middle. Wagner loaded the bases with two other runners before SFU walked in a run.
Wagner's rally would be cut short in the seventh inning forcing a final score of 1-7.
Next up, the Seahawks will host FDU Saturday, May 4 for a doubleheader at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.
