Staten Island, NY - The Wagner College softball team dropped the final game of the CCSU series Sunday, April 14 with a score of 0-8.
The Blue Devils jumped to an early lead scoring three runs in the top of the first inning.
Freshman Leilani Gonzales earned the lone hit for the Seahawks in the bottom of the second inning with a single to left field but the rally would be cut short by the Blue Devils.
CCSU went on to score five more runs ending the game in the fifth inning with a score of 0-8.
Next up, the Seahawks will travel to Syracuse, NY to take on Le Moyne Saturday, April 20.
