Bridgewater, NJ- Keana Foz of the Wagner women's basketball team was named the Northeast Conference (NEC) Rookie of the Week, the league announced today.

Foz scored a career-high 13 points against NJIT last week in a 62-60 win. In that contest she also recorded five assists, five rebounds and two steals.

The Mississauga, Ontario native then followed that game up with an 11 point performance over Rutgers including the first nine points of the game for the Seahawks.

Graduate student Julia Fabozzi was also named an NEC Prime Performer for her efforts this past week. In two games, Fabozzi averaged 20.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2 assists along with the go-ahead basketball to seal a 62-60 victory over NJIT.

The Seahawks will be back in action on Saturday, December 21 against Columbia. Tip-off is set for 12 PM.
