Staten Island, NY - Wagner head field hockey coach
Niki Miller has announced the additions of 12 newcomers ahead of the 2023 season.
Miller adds 12 players after losing seven players from the 2022 season.
The 12 incoming athletes will join the 2022 Northeast Conference (NEC) co-regular season champions.
"This is an exciting class for our program," Miller said. "All 12 student-athletes bring different skillsets to our family. We are excited to get them on campus and start working towards our goals for the upcoming season."
Lily Balatoni | Forward | Oaklyn, NJ
A member of the National Honors Society at Collingswood High School. A three-year varsity starter. First Team All-Colonial Conference (2021), NJ.com's All-Group 1 Second team (2021). Captain of Collingwood's field hockey team as a junior and senior. Featured in voting for the top-100 Juniors in NJ.

Three-time All-Conference honoree in high school, high school team captain.

Sophie Giltrap | Defense | Aukland, New Zealand | Indiana UniversityÂ
Captained her varsity team while earning the Most Valuable Player trophy. Won the prize for girl's top All-Rounder during her senior year of high school. She was also selected for the Auckland U18 team in 2018 and aided in a second place finish at the 2019 national tournament. Played Auckland representative field hockey from 2011-2019 and helped the squad to national championship title in 2015. Played club field hockey for the Western Districts and raised the championship trophy at the 2018 Auckland Premier Women Club Championships while being named the Most Improved Player of the championships.

First Team all South Jersey in 2022, a member of the 2022 Colonial Conference Team of the Year. The Colonial Conference Player of the Year in 2022, Second Team All-State in 2022. First Team All Group 1, 2022 All-Area Team.
