Jersey City, NJ – The Wagner College softball team fell 11-1 in its midweek non-conference contest at Saint Peter's on Wednesday afternoon.
The Seahawks took a 1-0 lead in the first inning, as senior
Alexa Garcia launched a solo shot to right field to put Wagner in front.
Saint Peter's tied the game in the bottom half of the inning and earned the win with three runs in the fourth and seven in the fifth.
Garcia led the Seahawks with two hits, while graduate student
Mackenzie Vogler and sophomore
Justine Carranza also had hits throughout the game.

Natalie Rodriguez also saw action in the circle.
Wagner will host Sacred Heart on Friday and Saturday in the penultimate Northeast Conference (NEC) series of the regular season.
Prior to Saturday's game, the Seahawks will honor their senior class.
