Staten Island, NY – The Wagner College men's lacrosse team dropped a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) contest to VMI at Hameline Field on Wednesday afternoon.
Wagner was able to put up five goals in the opening 15 minutes as graduate student

Benjamin Stewart tallied one goal each in the frame as Wagner took a 5-4 lead into the second quarter.
VMI tallied the lone goal of the second stanza as the game went into the second half knotted at five.
Both teams tallied three goals each in the third quarter as graduate student
Jack Brady tallied two goals and Stewart tallied his second goal. The game went into the fourth quarter tied at eight.
Down 11-10 with under one minute to play in the fourth,
Jack Brady tallied his third goal of the game to tie the game with 54 seconds remaining. VMI tallied a goal with 0.9 seconds left in the fourth quarter to preserve the victory.

Wagner will be back in action on Saturday, April 15 when they travel to Buffalo, NY to take on Canisius at 11:00 am.
