Emilija Krista Grava Earns Third Team Honors From Met Basketball Writers Association

White Plains, NY – For the third straight year, Wagner women's basketball forward Emilija Krista Grava has claimed All-Metropolitan honors, as she was named to the Third Team as announced by the Met Basketball Writers' Association (MBWA) on Friday.

Lauren Park-Lane of Seton Hall was selected as the All-Met Division I women's college basketball Player of the Year while Joe Frager of Fairfield University was tabbed as the Maggie Dixon Coach of the Year. Kitty Henderson of Columbia University was named Rookie of the Year.
The Lignate, Latvia native becomes the first Seahawk in program history to earn All-Met recognition in three consecutive years, breaking the tie with former Seahawk standout, Jasmine Nwajei, who was a Third Team selection in 2014-15 and 2015-16.
