Poughkeepsie, NY – The Wagner women's fencing team earned four wins in its final meet of the fall season.
Against Yeshiva, the Seahawks went 27-0 as the entire roster went unbeaten.
The Seahawks fell to Tufts 20-7.
Wagner dropped a close contest to Sacred Heart by a score of 14-13, senior
Anastasia Nardone went 3-0 in the foil competition.
The Seahawks fell to Northwestern 23-4, Northwestern is ranked No. 9 in the country.
Wagner claimed a 20-7 victory over the hosts Vassar behind 7-2 victories in the foil and sabre competition. Senior

Fanny Straub and sophomore
Simona Nedyalkova each went 3-0 against Vassar.
Wagner also claimed a 25-2 victory over CCNY behind 9-0 victories in the foil and sabre bouts.
Against its second ranked opponent of the day, Wagner fell 23-4 to No. 6 Cornell. Sophomore
Katerina Cervenkova went 2-1 against the Bears.
Against Cleveland State, the Seahawks claimed a 20-7 victory including a 8-1 victory in the sabre competition.

Simona Nedyalkova each went 3-0 against Cleveland State.
Fanny Straub finished the final meet of the fall with a 17-7 record.
"We closed out our fall season with some good individual performances," head coach David Sierra said. "I want to recognize our team who came together as a strong and consistent unit."
The Seahawks will begin its spring season in January 2023.
