Ruggiero walked and both runners moved up on a balk by Beal. Bey won the battle between him and Beal, drawing a walk to load the bases for Gillen. Gillen then ripped a double down the left-field that plated both Valdez and Ruggiero as Wagner jumped to a 3-0 lead.

The next batter, Ward, cleared the bases with a two-base hit to deep centerfield as Bey and Gillen came into score, pushing the lead Seahawks' lead to 5-0.

Sanfilippo reached on a fielding error by Mount's third baseman, Ryan Fisher, that enabled Ward to score the sixth run of the inning.

A pair of walks to Ward and David Melfi gave the Seahawks a pair of runners on base. With one-out, Montenegro sent one through the right side as Ward crossed the plate for Wagner's ninth run of the game.

Following a groundout by Martinez that moved both Melfi and Montenegro up a base, Valdez recorded his second extra-base hit of the contest, sending a double to right-center which increased Wagner's lead to 11-0.

Mount St. Mary's struck for two in the bottom half of the inning, as Wockley and Long went back-to-back with solo home runs. Zuppe was able to get out of the inning as he got CJ Kozorosky to ground out to Sanfilippo at first and Brady Drawbaugh to ground one back to the mound.

The Green & White got the two runs back in the sixth as Ward and Gillen executed a double steal with Gillen coming into score. Sanfilippo later sent a double down the left-field line that brought in Ward for a 13-2 Wagner lead.
