Another bucket by Ford with 10:32 to play in the first half capped off a 7-0 Wagner run and extended the lead to 15-7, before consecutive baskets by Morales with time winding down in the first half gave the Seahawks a 30-23 advantage at the midway mark.

Coming out of the half, Ford and Morales scored on consecutive possessions, forcing Stony Brook to call a quick timeout. Following a basket by Stony Brook's Jahlil Jenkins, the Seahawks scored 18 straight points, capped off by a Rogers layup with 13:40 to play that gave Wagner a 52-25 lead.
