2020-21 Senior Season
Named NEC Player of the Year … First Team All-NEC … First Team All-Met NABC District 15 First Team … Became the first Wagner player since Jermaine Hall and third Wagner player ever to be named NEC Player of the Year ... Only player in the NEC to earn four Player of the Week awards throughout the 2020-21 regular season … Finished the regular season ranking in the Top-10 in the conference in scoring (17.1, fourth), rebounding (7.4, eighth), assists (4.26, fourth), and steals (1.8, seventh) ... Declared for the NBA Draft following the regular season, but withdrew to come back to Wagner for the 2021-22 season ... Hit the game-winning jumper with three seconds to play, giving Wagner a 76-74 win over LIU on January 15, kickstarting the Seahawks' historic 10-game winning streak ... Against CCSU (2/25), the senior contributed 20 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, and four steals, becoming one of just two players nationwide at the time to post at least 20/10/7/4 in a game this season ...  One night later, Morales set a new career-high with 29 points on 12-20 shooting to go along with nine boards and four steals against the Blue Devils.


2019-20 Junior Season
One of two Seahawks to average double digit points, chipping in 13.6 points per game in 28 games, while earning 25 starts … Scored a season-high 25 points against St. Francis Brooklyn (1/18), shooting 11-15 from the field … Scored in double digits 14 times on the season, including six times against NEC competition … Dished out 87 assists and recorded 30 steals on the season, both good for second on the team … Started his Seahawk career with 17 points against Seton Hall (11/5) and 18 points against Penn State (11/9) … Averaged 5.3 rebounds on the season.


Before Wagner: Alex Morales is coming off a sensational season at Prince George's Community College in Largo, MD, where he was selected Second-Team NJCAA Division III All-America, as well as the Maryland JUCO Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year. This skilled and versatile prospect can play several positions, providing the Wagner coaching staff with multiple options and flexibility. A starter in all 28 games for the Owls in 2018-19, Morales averaged team highs in both scoring, at 19.8 points per game, and rebounding with 11.9 boards an outing, while also ranking second on the team with 5.5 assists per game. In his first season at Prince George's, the New Jersey native ranked second on the team with 13.8 points per game, along with a team-best 9.9 rebounds en route to being named the Maryland JUCO Tournament Most Valuable Player. Prior to arriving at Prince George's, Morales was a four-year letterwinner at Manchester Regional High School where, as a two-year team captain, was a three-time All-State and All-County performer.
