Brooklyn Heights, NY  –  The Wagner College women's basketball embarks on a pivotal three-game road trip beginning on Sunday afternoon as the Seahawks square off against the St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers. 

 
Playoff Push...
  • Wagner is currently in a three-way tie for sixth in the Northeast Conference (NEC) standings. 
  • Merrimack, who currently ranks third in the league standings, in not eligible for the NEC postseason due to NCAA Reclassifying regulations.

Last Time Out For Wagner...
  • The Wagner College women's basketball team erased a nine-point halftime deficit after outscoring the Central Connecticut Blue Devils 34-19 over the final 20 minutes of play in picking up a 63-56 home victory on Friday afternoon.
  • Sophomore forward Emilija Krista Grava netted a game-high 21 points while pulling down a team-high six rebounds in 33 minutes of action.  Redshirt senior guard Janelle Mullen notched her first 20-point performance of the season as she scored 12 of her 20 points from long range while nearly playing the full forty.  
  • Junior Khaleah Edwards chipped in eight points and five rebounds while Mullen and redshirt junior guard Morgan Lenahan each delivered three assists. 
  • Ashley Berube led the way for the visitors, scoring 16 points and grabbing a game-high eight rebounds in her 32 minutes of play while Emma McCamus added 12 points, four assists and two steals in the setback for the Blue Devils. 

Wagner All-Time Against St. Francis Brooklyn...
  • Wagner is 62-22 all-time against the Terriers.
  • The Seahawks will look for the season sweep of St. Francis Brooklyn after taking the first matchup, 74-66, back on January 18. 


Last Time Against St. Francis Brooklyn...
  • The Wagner women's basketball team converted early and often from long-range which led the Seahawks past the St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers, 74-66 in their first meeting of the season.  
  • Four Seahawks finished in double figures, with guards Alex Cowan and Alayshia Dailey each netting 13 points on a combined 9 of 18 shooting from the floor and 4 of 8 from three-point range. Cowan, in 38 minutes, dished out a game-high eight assists while grabbing four rebounds. Dailey chipped in four assists and three caroms in her 29 minutes of play. 
  • Junior Khaleah Edwards also reached double digits, finished with 12 points in 34 minutes of play while redshirt junior guard Morgan Lenahan contributed 11 points on 5 of 9 shooting from the field while grabbing four rebounds, two steals, and two assists. 
  • Three Terriers scored in double figures, led by Ally Lassen, who notched a team-high 19 points on 5 of 13 shooting from the floor while hitting on 9 of 12 from the free-throw line. She also corralled six rebounds in 35 minutes of play. 
  • Jenna Jordan added 15 points to go along with six rebounds in 34 minutes of action. Nevena Dimitrijevic, dropped in 11 points while dishing out four assists and snagging five boards in defeat.


About The Terriers...
  • St. Francis Brooklyn will be looking for its third-straight win after picking up a 80-77 home victory against Bryant on Friday. 
  • The Terriers are led by Nevena Dimitrijevic, who is pouring 14.4 ppg while dishing out 6.5 assists a contest in 34.9 minutes. 
  • After being held to just two points in back-to-back games against Merrimack and Mount St. Mary's, she has averaged 24.0 ppg and 7.7 apg over her last three games, which includes the 27 points against the Bulldogs. 
  • With the departure of  All-NEC selection, Jade Johnson, Ally Lassen has stepped up as the Terriers' second-leading scorer, pouring in 14.2 ppg while grabbing a team-best 5.6 rebounds a contest. 
  • Collectively, SFBK is averaging 65.2 points while hitting on close to 40.0 percent from the field. 


Winnings Ways...
  • In breaking down the Seahawks' nine victories this season, the Green & White is averaging 68.0 points per game while holding their opponents to just 63.0. 
  • Wagner is dishing out 17.0 helpers on average while forcing an average of 19.0 turnovers. 
  • Three Seahawks have averaged double-figures, led by Krista Grava, who is netting 20.0 ppg and 6.6 rpg in eight of the nine wins. 
  • Mullen is chipping in 12.0 ppg in just five games while hitting 12 of 12 from the free-throw line and shooting 41.4 percent from three-point range. 
  • Junior Khaleah Edwards is the third Seahawk in double-figures, contributing 11.4 ppg, 5.3 rpg and has hit a team-high 20 threes in the nine victories.  


Road Woes...
  • Despite going 8-5 at home, the Seahawks are looking for their second road win of the season. 
  • Wagner defeated Bryant, 58-45, back on January 27 in Smithfield, RI. 
  • The Seahawks are being outscored, 70.1-to-55.8. 
  • Krista Grava and Cowan are the lone Seahawks averaging double-figures on the road, with Krista Grava netting 14.5 ppg and pulling down 5.2 rpg in just 28.7 minutes. 
  • Cowan, who is adding 10.5 ppg, is dishing out just 2.0 apg away from home. 


This & That...
  • With the win against Central Connecticut, head coach Heather Jacobs recorded her 20th Northeast Conference (NEC) victory. 
  • The Seahawks are 6-5 this season when Krista Grava leads the team in scoring.
  • Wagner moved to 4-0 this season in games decided by 5-10 points.
  • Friday's win marked the sixth victory in which two Seahawks scored in double-figures.
  • Against CCSU, it marked the first time this year that Wagner has won despite the opponents having more assists.
