Loretto, PA – The Wagner College men's basketball team held Saint Francis U to 30 points and just 31.4% shooting from the field in the first half, but couldn't hold on to a 38-30 halftime advantage, as the Red Flash pulled away for an 80-62 victory on Thursday night.
With the loss, Wagner falls to 4-10 on the season and 1-2 in Northeast Conference (NEC) play, while SFU improves to 9-5 on the year and 2-1 in league action.

Alex Morales led the way with a season-high 22 points, his second 20-point effort of the season, while graduate student
Curtis Cobb III was the second Seahawk in double figures with 10 points. Morales also led the Green and White with seven rebounds while junior point guard
Chase Freeman dished out a team-high four assists.
After both teams traded baskets to start the game, the Seahawks took the lead midway through the first half and a three by Freeman with 7:19 to play gave Wagner a 25-17 advantage, while a basket by junior
Will Martinez extended the lead to 10 points with just over 30 seconds to play in the half.
Halftime also marked the turning point of the game, as the Red Flash scored the first nine points of the game before a three by Cobb gave Wagner a 41-39 lead with 15:07 to play in the contest.
After SFU regained the lead, the Seahawks fought back, as Morales scored 12 of Wagner's 24 points in the second half, but it wasn't enough, as Saint Francis extended its lead further to earn the victory.
The Seahawks, who held the lead for 20:25 minutes in tonight's contest, connected on 17 of 32 (53.1%) of shots in the first half, but were held to 23.3% in the second period, while the Red Flash connected on 51.9% of their shots in the second half.
Wagner will be back in action on Saturday afternoon, as the Seahawks stay in Western Pennsylvania to take on Robert Morris at 1 pm on NEC FrontRow.
