Staten Island, NY -  The Wagner men's water polo team (14-12; 6-3 MAWPC) concludes regular season play this weekend at Navy, Johns Hopkins, and George Washington.

Last time out, the Green & White defeated Johns Hopkins (17-7) and La Salle (21-10) on October 27-28 at the Spiro Sports Center. Following the two victories, junior utility Lachlan Trabinger garnered his first ever Rookie of the Week honor.

The newcomer scored two goals, drew eight exclusions and registered two blocks over the weekend. Trabinger has tallied 28 goals and 12 assists, combining for 40 points on the 2018 campaign. He ranks second on the team in drawn exclusions with 66 behind teammate sophomore driver Jasmin Kolasinac (88). The first year Seahawk has grabbed 25 steals and notched 16 blocks thus far.

Kolasinac was named Student-Athlete of the Month after registering a season-high eight goals against Hopkins and seven goals against the La Salle Explorers.  Thanks largely to Kolasinac's offensive prowess, the Seahawks currently boast a four-game win streak heading into the final weekend of the regular season.

The Belgrade, Serbia native has scored three or more goals in eight matches in October alone against La Salle (2), Johns Hopkins, Fordham, Harvard, Brown, Iona, and Bucknell. 

Wagner ranks third in the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference East standings currently with six wins against league foes and two losses to Bucknell (2) and Fordham (1).

Bucknell is the top seed currently with a 9-1 record while George Washington sits in the second spot with six wins and two losses. Navy ranks fourth followed by Fordham (5), Johns Hopkins (6) and La Salle who rounds out the standings in the seventh place.

The Seahawks will look to finish strong in their final weekend of the regular season against Navy and Johns Hopkins on Saturday, November 3 at 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., respectively, as well as on Sunday, November 4 at 3:00 p.m. against George Washington.
