Bridgeport, Pa. — Freshman and attacker
Harry Colley of the Wagner College men's water polo team was named the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Newcomer of the Week, the conference announced.
The freshman attacker and Sunshine Coast, Australia native recorded a total of two goals, five assists, three steals, two drawn exclusions, and two field blocks over a stretch of games.
Colley opened his impactful weekend against Mount St. Mary's, orchestrating the offense with two assists and two steals. He followed up strongly in the matchup against Bucknell by recording one goal, one assist, one steal, and one drawn exclusion, before capping off his performance against Mercyhurst with another goal, two assists, one drawn exclusion, and two defensive field blocks.
Wagner will be back in action as the Seahawks continue their MAWPC schedule, returning to Staten Island to host Fordham at the Spiro Sports Center on Saturday, October 24, with sprint-off scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
