Game 1 Recap – Wagner 1, Saint Peter's 0
The Seahawks scored one run on four hits, which proved to be enough to come out on top in game one of the afternoon.
Wagner got on the board in the third inning. Following consecutive two-out singles by senior
Brianna Tredway (Downingtown, PA / Downingtown West) and freshman
Kaila Smith (Millville, NJ / Millville), first-year Seahawk
Amelia Van Orman (Orange, CA / Lutheran High School of Orange County) came through with an RBI single to left center, giving the Seahawks a 1-0 lead.
Sophomore
Lauren Serrato (Litchfield Park, AZ / Verrado High School) had the fourth hit in the contest for Wagner, with the Peacocks also combining for four hits throughout the game. The Green and White left seven runners on base, while Saint Peter's stranded nine.
In the circle, senior
Gina Massaro (Levittown, PA / Conwell-Egan Catholic) earned her second win of the season, going 5.1 innings while striking out four. Senior
Morgan Brown (Buckeye, AZ / Verrado) came on in relief in the sixth and earned her first save of the season.

In the top of the seventh, the Peacocks moved the winning run into scoring position, but Brown struck out Saint Peter's Sydney Ramsey in finishing the game.
