Durham, NH - The Wagner women's basketball team makes the long trek to meet the University of New Hampshire Wildcats of the American East Conference on Saturday, November 26 in a 7:00 p.m. tip at Lundholm Gymnasium.
The Seahawks enter the contest with a 1-3 record and are coming off a 61-49 home loss to Delaware State on November 20. The Wildcats are 2-2 on the season and will be facing their second straight Northeast Conference (NEC) foe, as they earned a 62-60 home win over Bryant on November 22.

Tanasia Russell (Vineland, NJ / Vineland), who averages 14.3 points per game and is coming off two straight 16-point games, vs. Tonson (11/17) and Delaware State (11/19), respectively. The Green & White are led in rebounding by a pair of guards in sophomore

The Wildcats posted an impressive come-from-behind effort to beat Bryant University, 62-60, for the first time on Tuesday. With UNH down 51-41 with less than nine minutes to play, junior guard Brittni Lai took charge, scoring 17 of her season-high 31 points in the fourth period. Lai, a transfer from Marist College, leads the Wildcats with 15 points and 3.5 assists per game. Junior center Carlie Pogue averages 10.5 points and a team-best 7.3 rebounds and junior forward Kat Fogarty is at 8.8 points and 6.5 rebounds. UNH evened its record at 2-2 with the win. Following tonight's game against Wagner, the Wildcats play their next three games on the road, starting at Boston University on Monday night at 7:00 p.m. They are at Northeastern on Dec. 1, at Siena on Dec. 6 and return home against Yale on Sunday, Dec. 11 at 1 p.m. to start a three-game homestand.

Eighth All-Time Meeting with New Hampshire
Tonight's game marks the eighth all-time meeting between Wagner and New Hampshire and the Wildcats own a 7-0 lead in the series. The Seahawks have a 16-23 all-time record vs. teams that are current members of America East.
