Fairleigh Dickinson got on the board early in the first inning taking a 1-0 lead. The Knights held this lead for the entire contest as Wagner recorded a total of four hits in seven innings.
In the top of the sixth, FDU's Cheryl Lopez hit a homerun to expand the lead 2-0.
A solo home run in the bottom of the sixth inning from sophomore third baseman
Aerika High (Manheim, PA/ Manheim Central) would trim the lead 2-1 but this is as close as the Seahawks would get.
Freshman left fielder
Maite Reece (Covina, CA/ Gabrielino) paced the Seahawks contributing half of the hits for the Green & White going 2-for-3.
Sophomore second baseman
McKaleigh Goodale (Bradenton, FL/ Lakewood Ranch) also registered one hit for Wagner.
Senior
Samantha Bedker (Phoenix, AZ/ Sandra Day O'Connor) took the loss to fall to 1-6 on the season, allowing an unearned run in a route-going performance.
