Junior Season (2017): Provided a spark in the form of game-changing speed as the Seahawks’ main pinch runner throughout the season … Her speed and instincts on the base paths helped allow her to score 11 runs on the year while … Credited with four at-bats on the season.

Sophomore Season (2016): Made 27 appearances, recording one hit in 15 at bats, scoring eight runs … Batted in one run versus Saint Peter’s on March 31 … Walked against Stetson on March 5.

Freshman Season (2015): Appeared in 30 games, starting in 21 for the Seahawks … Compiled a .157 batting average on the season with eight hits, one RBI, one homerun and one double … Finished the year with four runs scored, a .235 slugging percentage and a .173 on-base percentage … Opened her freshman campaign with a homerun against Coppin State en route to a 9-3 win (Feb. 27) … Finished 2-for-3 in the first game of a doubleheader against Fairleigh Dickinson (Mar. 30) … Went 1-for-3 with a double against Saint Francis (Apr. 18). 

Before Wagner: Attended Gabrielino High School….Four-year member of the varsity softball team under head coach AJ King…Led the Eagles to four straight third-place finishes…Was a three-time Most Valuable Player, First-Team All-League selection, won the Most Improved Award…Member of American Pastime…Maite was also a four-year member of the soccer team in which she garnered First Team All-League honors, a two-time Second Team All-League choice; First Team All-CIF; Coaches Award winner; Most Improved Player Award and led the Eagles to a League and CIF Championship. Academically, Maite is a member of the National Honors Society and Honor Roll, received the Booster Club Athletic Scholarship…Named to the Athletic All-Academic Team and was the recipient of the AP Scholar Award…
