Marie-Laurence Archambault
This 6-0 forward currently leads the Seahawks in scoring at 10.6 points per game. On February 9 at Robert Morris, she became the 23
rd player in Wagner history to reach the 1,000-point mark and this sharp-shooter enters today's game with 1,038 career points. She posted a career-high 24 points as a freshman at Qunnipiac on January 9, 2010 and knocked down a career-high seven three-pointers at Columbia earlier this season. A double major in International Affairs and Spanish with a 3.5 GPA.
Veronick Fournier
A native of Gatineau, Quebec, this gutsy competittor has carved out a well-earned reputation as a shut-down defender throughout her productive Wagner career. A testament to her will and desire is the fact that, at 5 feet, 11 inches tall, she leads the Seahawks in rebounding with 143, an average of 5.7 boards per game. For her career, she has totaled nearly 500 points, dished out 139 assists while recording 104 steals. She has played in 106 games for the Green & White with 84 starts. Known as “V” to her teammates and friends, Veronick earned her degree in Anthropology, with a minor in Spanish, in just three years and is presently enrolled in the Wagner MBA program where she holds a perfect 4.0 GPA. Uncommonly community and civic-minded, “V” spent spring break 2012 in Haiti donating time to the needy.
