The Wagner College women's basketball team plays its second of four games away from Spiro Sports Center Tuesday night when the Seahawks square off with Pitt of the Big East. The Panthers are playing for the first time in a week, following back-to-back wins in a three-day span against William & Mary (Nov. 11) and SIena (Nov. 13).

Through two games, the Seahawks are averaging 61.5 ppg, while allowing 56.0. senior Marie-Laurence Archambault and sophomore Stephanie Blais have been one and two in scoring in both games, putting the Quebec natives at 15.0 and 13.0 ppg, respectively. Scouting the Panthers
Pitt enters play Monday with a 2-1 record on the season, with all three previous games at home. After playing three games in five days to start the season, Tuesday's game is the first in seven days for the Panthers.

Junior Asia Logan has been a dominant force for the Panthers in the early going, averaging 20.7 ppg, 9.3 rpg, and 6.0 orpg. Numero Uno
Wednesday's victory over Columbia was the first in the head coaching career of Lisa Cermignano. The Seahawks' first-year head coach served as an assistant at Maryland, Monmouth, her alma mater George Washington, Vanderbilt, and Illinois before being hired as head coach at Wagner.

O Canada
The majority of the Seahawk offense in the team's first two games has been provided by the team's four natives of the province of Quebec. Senior Marie-Laurence Archambault (15.0 ppg), sophomore Stephanie Blais (13.0 ppg), senior Veronick Fournier (7.5 ppg), and junior Laura Amorosa (4.5 ppg) have provided 65% of Wagner's offense in the first two games, with Archambault and Blais leading the team in scoring.

Start Me Up
Two Seahawks made their third career starts in Wednesday's win over Columbia. Junior Laura Amorosa made her first start since last year's season finale at Bryant, playing a career-high 28 minutes in the victory. Amorosa also pulled down a career-best five rebounds. Sophomore Stephanie Blais started for the second consecutive game, making a career-high six field goals, and finishing one point shy of her career-high 14, set on Jan. 28, 2012 at Quinnipiac. Blais also set a new career-best in blocks, rejecting three Columbia shots during the game.

Cutting Through the Ivy
The Nov. 14 victory over Columbia moves the Seahawks to 16-7 all-time over the Lions, and 22-17 against the Ivy League. The Seahawks hold a 5-7 mark against Princeton, are 1-1 vs. Dartmouth, and 0-2 vs. Harvard.
